The work package 1 is responsible for the overall project coordination. It involves comprehensive management and coordination of the whole project including administrative, financial, and legal support, organizing regular meetings for progress updates and issue resolution, and establishing advisory boards and coordinating alignment with 1+MG national mirror groups. Additionally, WP oversees monitoring scientific progress, managing risks, and ensuring compliance with intellectual property regulations.

WP1 work is primarily organised by the Project Management Office (PMO) at the Erasmus MC, with support from institutional legal, financial and communication experts. The PMO handles daily operational management and is supportive to the General Assembly, Executive Team and all WPs within GoE
